Pirelli: next test in Barcelona
di Staff7 October 2010
Pirelli will carry out a further test on the 2011 tires at the end of October on the Barcelona circuit. The Italian company concluded a test this week on the Valencia circuit where it tested the wet tires. The track was artificially flooded and the two types of tyre: wet and intermediate responded well to the tests.
Pedro de la Rosa has taken Nick Heidfeld's place, while the car remains a 2009 Toyota.
Paul Hembery, Pirelli program manager: “So far the program is going exactly according to our plans and we hope to be able to continue our work following the objectives set. Both the test sessions and the return to Milan to analyze the data are exciting moments for us."
Robert Ferrari
