Petronas: agreement renewed for the Malaysian GP

Malaysian oil company Petronas has extended its sponsorship deal with the Malaysian Grand Prix. The extension for another five years was announced in a press release.

Petronas is also the main sponsor of Mercedes GP.

“I am pleased that Petronas is still using Formula 1 to spread their successful brand around the world,” said F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone.

The Malaysian Grand Prix has been on the calendar since 1999.
