For Robert Doornbos a new opportunity in Formula 1

Robert Doornbos will return to driving a Formula 1 car in the near future. The former Minardi and Red Bull driver spent the season in the US Champ Car series, achieving excellent results especially at the beginning of the year.

The good performances would have convinced Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz to think of him again for the winter testing sessions which will begin in November, as reported by the magazine Formula 1 Race Report.

“I will participate in the tests with great pleasure”: commented the twenty-six year old Dutchman with satisfaction.
