Palmer: “Weekend to forget”

Unable to appear competitive for the entire Chinese weekend, Renault confirmed its performance in a grand prix that saw it fighting for the last positions.

“The start went reasonably well but then nothing else happened except for a few overtaking thanks to the strategy. It certainly wasn't the weekend I was hoping for, but in any case we learned our lesson. The goal is to continue to grow” – the statement by Kevin Magnussen, 17 °.

“At the start I passed some opponents. From there, however, it was really complicated. I had neither balance nor pace and the tire degradation turned out to be higher than usual. We will have to analyze the data. For the moment I'm happy it's over" – the comment of Jolyon Palmer, 22 °.
