Palmer: “Renewal? It's still early for the team."

Jolyon Palmer he is waiting to discover his future in Formula 1. For many, the Renault driver is at risk of a renewal for next year.

His debut in the circus was not helped by the best, hampered by a car that was anything but competitive, but the doors still seem open for the 25-year-old: the team has not yet decided who will drive the car next season.

“I think it's too early for the team to think about this now – he declared to Formule1 – the team still has a lot to do to prepare for 2017, so at the moment we just have to wait”.

The Englishman doesn't seem to want to worry about the rumors that have brought Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon closer to Renault: “I want to show what I can do and continue to improve with each race. I know there are still two spots left, so I'm not too worried. I feel good, I'm riding well and I'm getting stronger every weekend."
