Nurburgring: agreement perhaps reached with Ecclestone for the German GP

The company that manages the Nurburgring circuit has finally reached an agreement with Bernie Ecclestone to host the German GP in July. This was reported by the Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper after the long saga of recent weeks on the financial difficulties of the German circuit.

Also according to the SID agency the race will certainly be held in July, although it is not yet clear whether the GP will be in Germany or Europe.

“It's a bit of a political issue” declared Ecclestone, in reference to the dispute between the Nurburgring linked to the AvD and Hockenheim linked instead to the ADAC.

According to rumors, the announcement of the GP race at the Nurburgring, which will take place on July 7, will be made at a press conference on Thursday.
