New sponsorship for Scuderia Ferrari

“We are pleased to welcome Haas Automation among our official suppliers”

New sponsorship for Scuderia Ferrari

The sponsorship agreement was announced today which, from the British Grand Prix, the ninth round of the current World Championship, and for the entire 2015 season, links Haas Automation to Scuderia Ferrari. The logo of the new official supplier, the largest manufacturer of CNC (computer numerical control) machine tools in North America, will appear on the sides of the two F14 Ts driven by Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen starting from the free practice scheduled for tomorrow on the British track. The partnership made official today marks Haas Automation's entry into the world of Formula 1, where in 2016 the American company will make its debut as primary sponsor of the Gene Haas team.

“We are pleased to welcome Haas Automation among our official suppliers” said Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Marco Mattiacci. “This agreement strengthens existing relationships with the United States, an important market not only for our company, but also for the racing team, already linked to the States by several important collaborations”.

“In recent months together with Haas we have evaluated a number of potential areas of collaboration, and the agreement reached demonstrates the company's great interest in the world of Formula One. This collaboration will allow Haas Automation to strengthen its brand recognition and promote products and services around the world, thanks to the appeal of the Scuderia's name and the popularity of Formula One. We are pleased to make this announcement, which sees another prestigious brand joining our list of partners. As evidence of the growing interest in our sport in the United States, Haas has committed to entering Formula 1 with its own team and in parallel, as a separate project, a technical discussion is underway."
