McLaren, there's no two without three for Lewis Hamilton

Three podiums out of three for Lewis Hamilton who leads the 45 Formula 1 World Championship with 2012 points after three races. Three Grands Prix which saw three different winners, Jenson Button (McLaren) in Australia, Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) in Malaysia, Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) in China, but one constant, namely Hamilton, on the third step of the podium in all three races and now leader of the World Championship with a two-point advantage over teammate Button.

“I'm happy with third place and the championship leadership, but we're all there and Mercedes has proven to be very strong – commented Hamilton after the race -. Congratulations to Nico, the first victory is always incredible. I also have to thank the whole team who helped me recover positions thanks to an excellent strategy".

“We knew that Rosberg would be very fast and that if he took a certain lead it would be difficult to catch him – he then explained about the race -. I remain more than satisfied with my race, one of those in which I did the best. It was spectacular also because there were practically seven cars within a minimum gap".

And in addition to its two drivers at the top of the championship standings, McLaren can enjoy first place in the constructors' ranking with 88 points.
