Nico Rosberg denies the Barrichello-Williams agreement

Nico Rosberg has joined Rubens Barrichello and denied that Williams has already signed a new driver pairing for 2010. Rumors persist of a seat swap between the German driver and the Brazilian driver eventually of this season. Rosberg would thus go to Brawn, while Barrichello would go the opposite way, arriving at the Grove team.

During the week the Brazilian press claimed that the agreement had already been signed.

“I have spoken to Frank Williams and I know that absolutely nothing has been decided yet,” Rosberg told the EFE news agency.

However, the veteran Brazilian driver admitted that he is talking to some teams, including Williams.

“I haven't signed anything, but it's true that I'm talking to Williams and Brawn, for sure,” he said.

Amid the title fight with his teammate Jenson Button, Barrichello indicated that he is very happy with his current situation, especially after having risked having to forcefully end his career at the end of last year.

“Today I feel very honored that there are teams looking for me and my situation has certainly improved compared to before,” added the thirty-seven year old.
