“The race was certainly decided in the first meters after the start. My start was ok but slightly late compared to how Lewis and Daniel started. Then Daniel found himself in the slipstream and Lewis had the inside line. I simply missed the train at the first bend. Then I found myself caught between the two and had to get out of it: fortunately I managed to regain at least second position at the next corner. There I made a good overtaking on the outside but I lost the victory at that moment, there's no doubt about it,” concluded Nico.
