No development for the Red Bull power unit until the Russian GP

Christian Horner confirmed that Renault will not use tokens of development at least until the Russian Grand Prix, which will be held in October. Even if the French engines inevitably compromised the Milton Keynes team's season, Renault prefers it wait for to send a reliable power unit to the track with the aim of returning to being competitive and at the level of its rivals in 2016.

“I don't think there is nothing planned before Sochi. The Russian Grand Prix will represent the moment in which we could have an evo engine but until then we will continue with the current one – commented Horner – Unfortunately Ricciardo, he lost his fourth engine and now has only the fifth which we used in Austria for the first time. Let's hope we don't have to use an extra one before the Sochi race,” she concluded.
