Bologna Motor Show: Fisichella on track with the Ferrari F1

The opening day of the thirty-sixth edition of the Bologna Motor Show offered all Ferrari enthusiasts a truly unique opportunity to see the main racing activities of the Maranello company on the track.

The program of the now traditional event dedicated to the Maranello company was divided into three events: two of a competitive nature represented by the challenge between sixteen Ferraris from the Italian and European series of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli and one dedicated to the exhibition of Formula 1 , with Giancarlo Fisichella as the protagonist.

At the end of the two tests, each divided into three heats, Philipp Baron came out on top among those entered with the 458: the Austrian driver from the team of the same name managed to prevail in the final over Stefano Gai (Rossocorsa), while the third step the podium went to Lorenzo Bontempelli, representative of the Kessel Racing team, followed by Dario Caso (CDP), fourth on the finish line. Among those registered with the F430, the victory went to Andrea Belluzzi, at the wheel of the car fielded by the Motor/Modena dealership. The driver from San Marino, former Italian champion of the Pirelli Trophy among the F430s and winner of the World title at the Mugello Finals, also achieved his objective at the Motorshow, winning the race ahead of Riccardo and Roberto Ragazzi, both fielded by Ineco/Ram. Diego Romanini immediately off the podium with a 458 from Rossocorsa/Pellin.

In the middle of the day, the space dedicated to competitions in area 48 was the scene of the traditional farewell of the Scuderia Ferrari: Giancarlo Fisichella completed a few laps of the track and performed a pit stop simulation at the wheel of an F10, the single-seater with which the Scuderia di Maranello took part in the World Championship in the 2010 season, receiving truly warm applause from the fans who crowded the stands.
