Montezemolo: “An important goal has been reached but now we want to win”

At the beginning of the week that will decide this year's Formula 1 World Championship, Luca di Montezemolo wanted to send a personal message to all the men and women of Ferrari.

“We have reached a goal of which we must be proud” – wrote the President – ​​“In the last sixteen years, with very rare exceptions, we have always been used to reaching the end of the championship in this situation and we managed to do it this time too, in a season which, whatever happens, saw us as protagonists."

“But pride is not enough: we want to win” – continued Montezemolo – “Yesterday in Austin the team was once again perfect as were both drivers: Fernando was on the podium again and Felipe was the author of a beautiful race, as well as proving himself once again as a team player. Now we will go to Sao Paulo in Brazil with the desire to win and with the knowledge that we will fight for it until the last kilometer of the last lap of the Interlagos race. I know it will be very hard but I and all of us believe in it!”
