Montezemolo: “In Spain also for Michael”

“I wanted to be on the Montmelò circuit because today more than ever my thoughts go to Michael Schumacher and his family. On this track on 2 June 1996 he won his first Grand Prix with Ferrari, starting his long series of successes with the Scuderia and from here I want to send a new message of encouragement to this great friend who is fighting in his most difficult race. He must face it with the courage and determination that have always characterized him on the track. I, all of Ferrari and his fans are always close to him." On the opening day of the first European weekend of the championship, the President wanted to stay close to the team. In recent weeks Montezemolo has been working personally to relaunch the team by attending technical and organizational meetings.
