A few minutes ago, after the various rumors that emerged in recent days, the official announcement of theMick Schumacher joins the ranks of the Ferrari Driver Academy.

The German son of art, commenting on the passage into the 'cantera' of the young promising talents of Cavallino, said: “I am very happy to have reached an agreement with Ferrari and that my near future in motor racing is in the red, becoming part of the Ferrari Driver Academy and thus also of the Scuderia Ferrari family. This is another step in the right direction and I will only benefit from the immense expertise there. I will certainly do everything I can to learn everything that can help me achieve my dream: racing in Formula 1".

The reigning champion of the European F3 championship, who from the new season will be involved in F2 with the Prema team, added: “It is more than obvious that Ferrari has had a huge place in my heart since I was born and in that of our family, I am also happy on a personal level for this opportunity. I would also like to thank my family, friends and partners who have supported and helped me get to this point".
