Mercedes, Rosberg: “I want to win in Mexico”

With the second achieved on Sunday in Austin, Nico Rosberg lost seven points in the world championship clash with Lewis Hamilton, the latter author of a race dominated from the first to the last lap. Despite having "lost" the Texan battle, the German continues to be the master of his own destiny, leading the general classification with 26 points ahead of his teammate/rival.

In the next round, scheduled for the weekend in Mexico City, Rosberg could become world champions in the event of victory and at the same time zero in Hamilton's box.

With the triumph achieved in last season's event in Mexico, Rosberg started an important streak of consecutive victories (seven) which ended last May with the accident that saw him protagonist on the first lap of the Montmelò race with Hamilton .

"Last Sunday I had a good chance to win, but the Austin race didn't go according to my plan – Rosberg's comment – My goal is to try to win the next race in Mexico. Naturally the battle for the title will continue until the end of the season. My approach remains the same as always: think one race at a time.
