Mercedes, Hamilton: “I can't wait for the Monza weekend to start”

In the last two seasons Lewis Hamilton has managed to conquer the top spot in Monza, an objective he intends to achieve also in the 2016 edition of the Brianza race. Once the weekend of the Belgian Grand Prix is ​​over, and with it the 55 penalty positions suffered for the homologation of three power units, the Englishman wants to return to playing an absolute leading role after the third place obtained in a comeback between the Ardennes.

"I had a simply perfect weekend last season in Monza – Hamilton's thoughts -  It would be incredible if it happened again this year. Of course we will have to see where we are compared to the competition. One thing is certain: I can't wait for the Monza weekend to start. I know the track very well as I have raced there in different categories. The podium in Monza is fantastic, suspended among a sea of ​​crowd. A unique experience for us pilots".

There is also a mention of the title fight pitting the Englishman against teammate Nico Rosberg: “I have no more penalties to serve and have the right number of new engines to complete the rest of the season without problems – the note from the three-time world champion – now it will be up to me to make the difference to be able to beat Nico and win the fourth title".
