Mercedes, Hamilton: “The new regulation will not make the races more exciting”

In the 2017 Circus it should undergo yet another revolution in its (recent) history. Regarding the new regulations - there is talk of single-seaters being 5 seconds faster per lap, of larger tires than the current ones, of the introduction of the Halo device -, the F1 Commissions will have until April 30th to approve it. For Lewis Hamilton, the possible introduction of these innovations will not make racing more exciting.

"In recent weeks there has been a lot of discussion about the new rules and the role that we pilots should have in decision-making - declared the reigning world championIt is certainly not up to us to look for new solutions. Everyone has different ideas about the improvements they would make to this sport."

“Personally – Hamilton continued – , I think we just need more mechanical grip. If they were to only build single-seaters that were faster than the current ones, nothing would change. I turn to F1 lovers. Now I can't give certain answers, but I'm sure that the changes taken into consideration will not make the races better."
