Mercedes: Big disappointment for Rosberg and Schumacher in Australia after qualifying

Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher are very disappointed after the outcome of qualifying in the Australian Grand Prix. The German Mercedes drivers finished seventh and eleventh respectively.

Nico Rosberg – Pos 7:
“I'm disappointed as when I went to bed last night, I was confident of a good qualification. In the morning, a couple of things didn't work on my car, but the team did a good job and almost all systems were ready for qualifying, so we need to know what happened. I made a small mistake in Q3 which maybe cost me a place but it's not enough for us. One good thing is that I start on the clean side of the grid, and we will do our best to score some good points tomorrow. ”

Michael Schumacher – Pos 11:
“It's clear that it hasn't been an ideal start to the season, and I can't deny that I'm disappointed. It's not that KERS only worked intermittently or that I could probably have made Q3, but because our performance wasn't as we expected. From our experience in testing, we have been on Ferrari's pace, however this did not translate today. We've faced problems more here than in testing with several issues throughout the weekend. Now we have to look deep inside and understand why it turned out to be this way, why for the moment we are not where we wanted to be.”
