McLaren: Zak Brown running for CEO
For him also offers from Liberty Media
di StaffNovember 16, 2016
Zak Brown is one of the candidates for the position of new CEO of McLaren. After Ron Dennis' farewell to the Woking company, made official yesterday, the English newspaper The Times has indicated Brown, known for his role in various F1 sponsorships, as one of the favorites to rise to the top of the McLaren Group .
But Brown, according to correspondent Kevin Eason, is also being courted by F1's new owner, Liberty Media. Brown would have 48 hours to decide whether he will succeed Bernie Ecclestone as chief executive of FOM or replace Dennis at Mclaren.
“Brown will have to choose between one of the biggest names in F1 and the whole show,” reads the Times article.
