McLaren, Lewis Hamilton: “I can win in Singapore”

The McLaren driver is a fan of street circuits like Singapore, and is hoping for a good performance this weekend at Marina Bay.

“I like racing on street circuits and I really like the one in Singapore – it's almost two tracks in one: there are some nice fast corners, which require a good set-up and a bit of effort, but there are also a lot of tight corners, which are slower and more technical. You have to be precise in these corners and try not to stress the tires.”

“I'm hoping for a good result this weekend. I think we had a car capable of winning in both Belgium and Italy, so I really want to make sure we arrive in Singapore with a good set-up. If everything goes right, we should be in good shape on Sunday.”

“Even though the title is now almost out of reach, I will push for the best possible result. I never give up and I will drive to win, as always."
