The sponsorship agreement between McLaren and Vodafone will end at the end of the 2013 season. The partnership, which began in 2007, will not continue after the contract expires.
In a statement released by the team, McLaren announced that a new main sponsor will be announced on December 2 ahead of 2014.
Martin Whitmarsh, McLaren team principal, commented: “We are immensely proud that, having set several challenges together with Vodafone in 2007, together we have achieved and overcome them one by one. We will focus on continuing to deliver results for all our partners in 2013 and will announce a new title sponsor towards the end of the year.”
