McLaren, Button on Mexico: “Incredible crowd in the stadium, great track”
Jenson appreciates the combination of fast and slow sections of the Mexican circuit
Jenson Button can't wait to get back on track after the excellent race held in Austin, which he finished in ninth place after starting from the tenth row. The British McLaren-Honda driver particularly appreciates the Mexican GP, both for the atmosphere and the warmth of the fans, and for the technical characteristics of the track named after Fratelli Rodriguez, whose layout enhances the driving of the drivers.
“We as McLaren have fans everywhere, but the warmth of the Mexican crowd is really special, the feeling when you race in the Stadium is incredible, you can feel the crowd from the cockpit - commented Jenson - The track is really fascinating, a fascinating design for the driver. Even if the new circuit lacks the historic Peraltada bank, the mix of fast sections and slow corners makes the lap of the track truly complete and stimulating. The final slow stretch can certainly be our strong point."
