McLaren, Button: “Complex track, we need to work well on the set-up”

Fresh from renewal and therefore motivated, Jenson Button he admits that he appreciates the Sochi track, a very particular circuit. For the McLaren driver it will be important to set up the car well to find the right compromise between the fast sections of the circuit and the right-angle corners. No predictions on the MP4-30's chances, but despite the presence of long straights the Honda engine should suffer less than in the last race at Suzuka. Button had a great race on the Black Sea last year, finishing in fourth place.

“Last year in Sochi I had a great weekend and I'm happy to race in Russia again – Button said – for a narrow track it is surprisingly fast, with many medium-slow corners alternating with long straights. We hope to be able to have a good GP and above all to be able to best adapt the set-up of the single-seater to the complexity of this circuit."
