Fernando Alonso is convinced that this new fight for pole will not affect the teams' choices. I don't think it will change much compared to the past".

"All teams will arrive in Melbourne with worksheets ready – declared the two-time world champion – . I don't think an adjustment period will be necessary. We pilots will have no difficulties efwe will have very fast laps when we need them".

Alonso himself specified that he would not apply any changes to the qualifications: “I wouldn't have changed anything. F1 is a very complex sport, very difficult for non-fans to understand. Maybe FrFor the latter, the new system will be more complicated than expected. They will need a few races before they understand it better".
