McLaren, Alonso: “In the winter we will try to close the gap with Mercedes”

Fernando Alonso hopes that in the winter McLaren can make the definitive leap in quality, in order to get much closer to Mercedes. The Asturian sees the regulation change as a great opportunity to overturn the predictions and it is no coincidence that he asks for one last great effort from Honda to recover the ground on the other engine manufacturers.

“We have a very different winter ahead of us.
