Mateschitz ready to celebrate Vettel's second title

Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz is ready to celebrate Sebastian Vettel's second Formula 1 drivers' title. The German driver will only need a tenth place in one of the next five races to win the 2011 title.

But considering his nine triumphs and more than 300 points collected so far, a journalist from the Kleine Zeitung newspaper told Mateschitz that it is now impossible for the title to slip out of Vettel's hands.

“You're basically right, for sure,” Mateschitz replied before smiling: “But he could still fall off a ladder.”

The journalist then pointed out to Mateschitz that even with a broken leg for Vettel, Jenson Button would have to win all the remaining races to get the title.

So is Red Bull already focused on 2012? “In a way yes,” confirmed Mateschitz, “but there are no big changes to the regulations for 2012, so we will continue to develop as much as possible until the last race.”
