Massa hopes to return for the Brazilian GP

Felipe Massa said yesterday that he hopes to return behind the wheel of Ferrari at his home race, the Brazilian Grand Prix, in mid-October.

"I hope to be able to return for the Brazilian GP, ​​for my fans, and maybe even before" the injured driver declared to TV Globo.

According to rumors, the recovery is proceeding very well but the vision in the left eye is not yet 100%.

Massa hopes to get the green light from doctors after the next tests in early September.

"If the doctors here in Brazil give me the OK, first of all I will get on a kart" said Massa. The next step will be to pass the FIA ​​medical check.

"I can't wait to race again" added the Ferrari driver, who revealed that he had never been afraid of dying since his accident in qualifying for the Hungarian GP and that he remembered nothing of the impact.
