Massa: “A good Friday test in Monza for Ferrari”

Felipe Massa said he was satisfied with Ferrari's two free practice sessions in Monza, at the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix. The Brazilian achieved the eighth and fourth fastest times in the morning and afternoon respectively.

“I would say it was a good day, especially because we managed to do everything we had included in the program,” said Massa. “We have understood which direction to take from the point of view of the aerodynamic configuration and set-up and, now, we must try to optimize the car both in view of qualifying and, above all, the race. Differences between the Soft and the Medium? Simple, the first is faster on the lap time. On this track tire degradation doesn't seem to be very high compared to other circuits so I don't think there will be many pit stops. Instead, we see that there are different orientations in terms of aerodynamic load: to understand who made the right choice we will have to wait for qualifying and, even more so, the race."
