Massa: “It's not the first time Perez has done this”
For the Brazilian, the five-place penalty is too light
Felipe Massa he didn't swallow the mistake made by at all Sergio Perez a few corners from the end of the Canadian GP which practically sent him like a missile against the wall thus canceling his chance of bringing home a good result.
“I spoke to him at the medical center because I was quite disappointed with his behaviour. I told him to be more careful as the accident occurred at high speed and I could have hurt myself, but he turned his back and left – his words reported by Autosport – Unfortunately it is not the first time that he does these things while braking, however he should know that for some years the rule has been in force according to which you cannot change trajectory when you have a car next to you, but instead he did it and we touched each other. It was really dangerous and if it were up to me I would have given him more than the five place penalty on the grid. He could have also ended up on Vettel."
For his part, the Mexican defends himself. “On the last lap I was trying to hold my position when suddenly I heard a shot – he explained – I was pushing to catch Rosberg but due to an electrical problem I had to give in. It's a shame because the podium was within reach."
