Challenging but satisfying race for Glock and Pic

Marussia, satisfaction from Glock and Pic in Sepang

Timo Glock, 17th: “Another great weekend for us. We finished the race with both cars at the finish line, which is a great result for the team and we should be happy about it. It was a difficult race, but I think we made the right choice of tires and changed at the right time, from intermediates to extreme wet tyres, and vice versa after the restart. I managed to keep the intermediate tires on as much as possible. And we were one of the first to change to dry tires and were able to keep pushing to stay ahead of Kovalainen, so, great job by the team. Everyone remained calm when the red flag came out. My boys worked well in the first two races. Now we need to focus on improving in China."

Charles Pic, 20th: “It was a challenging race in difficult conditions. It was the first time I had raced on extreme wet tires and it was difficult to understand when to change them at my second pit stop. Then I had problems with the brake at the third pit stop, which made me lose some time. However, I am happy with my pace, as consistent as Timo's on the intermediates and then on the slicks. A lot of work over the weekend from everyone, as it was very hard for everyone. I can't wait to go to China and make more progress."
