Marussia, Pic: “Satisfied with the qualification”
The Frenchman finished qualifying for the Korean GP 21st. 22nd Glock
“I'm satisfied with my qualification, it was good for Wednesday. At the first start, with the soft tyres, there was a bit of traffic and the tire temperature was not optimal. Then for the second heat we used the Supersofts... We lost something in the first at the braking point, but then we done well in the central sector and overall it was a positive qualification”.
It's an Charles Pic the one who spoke to the press at the end of qualifying for the Korean GP was satisfied. The Marussia driver finished 21st behind the two drivers Caterham Vitaly Petrov e Heikki Kovalainen.
“We will work to see how we can continue to improve tomorrow – he continued -. I feel comfortable on the track and I'm having a lot of fun. Something has changed with the new engine but I believe we will be able to close the gap with our rivals."
Timo Glock he doesn't seem as satisfied. “It's been quite a difficult weekend for us so far, we struggled with the balance of the car until qualifying - has explained -. Things seemed to be going a little better this afternoon and the car was certainly easier to drive. With the soft tires it didn't go very well at first, then when we switched to the Supersofts I made a mistake at turn 10, I went a bit wide and it was a shame. I lost a couple of tenths there, but at least the car made a few steps forward and I think we can do better tomorrow.".
