Marko: “Hamilton-Rosberg? Lewis will win the title thanks to his killer instinct."

For Helmut Marko, the internal struggle within the Mercedes team will see Lewis Hamilton prevail. In the opinion of the Austrian, former F1 driver and current talent scout on behalf of Red Bull, the reigning world champion will win his fourth title at the end of the season thanks also to his stubbornness which supported him in the most difficult moments of the season .

After the Montmelò crash, Hamilton finished six of the next seven races ahead of Rosberg. The only "empty shot" was the race in Baku, where he finished in fifth place starting from tenth place. From the -43 point disadvantage recorded in the Spanish GP by his teammate/rival, the English driver closed the first part of the season with a +19 on Rosberg.

"Nico is a perfect driver, but Hamilton is a warrior – Helmut Marko's comment – Lewis will be champion once again. He has killer instinct, a quality that Rosberg doesn't have and which will be decisive at the end of the year".

Marc Surer, former pilot and commentator for Sky Deutschland, is of the same opinion: "Lewis will become world champion for the fourth time – he declared to Sport Bild – When Nico had gained a good lead over Hamilton at the beginning of the year, many had written that Hamilton was excluded from the championship fight.
