"The usual budget problem remains"

Manor, Haryanto: “I'm not sure I'll finish the season”

In an interview with the official Formula One website, Rio Haryanto admitted that his stay in Manor is not guaranteed until the end of the season. The Indonesian has in fact underlined how his future in the Circus depends on the budget that his sponsors will pay to the English team in the coming months. Haryanto, at the moment, seems to be living this adventure in Formula One very "day by day", thinking from race to race and not giving importance to the rumors that he is away from the Manor before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. A very intricate situation that will be resolved in one way or another in the coming weeks.

Here are the words of Rio Haryanto: “I can't give an answer regarding my future in Formula One. At the moment my stay at the Manor is not guaranteed until Abu Dhabi and therefore there is the possibility of having to say goodbye to everyone before the end of the season. Everything will depend on the budget I can find and the sponsors I can gather, but I can't tell you more about this. Usually I don't worry about these things because my only thought is running. My staff takes care of the budget and negotiations."
