Manor F1, is toto-seat for the name of the second driver

The Manor finally seems to be serious and is staring the final terms to show up in Melbourne, for the first race of the year. The team born from the ashes of Marussia is said to be about to complete the car and will ship the materials to Australia with a cargo ship on March 6th. Exit from receivership on 19 February, despite the failure received by Force India to present itself at the 2015 world championship, Manor has obtained the green light from the FIA, thus officially entering the list of teams registered for the 1 Formula 2015 world championship.

Yet, the road that leads to Melbourne it's still long: the team of Stephen Fitzpatrick, owner of the multinational Ovo Energy, will have to pass the crash tests on Tuesday with the single-seater compliant with the 2015 technical regulations. If Ferrari and McLaren who respectively will supply the Manor with the 2014 power unit and access to the structures and the tunnel of the wind, the ball now passes directly to the Manor. The fight to be present at the start of the world championship has officially begun. Meanwhile, the team has announced the name of their first driver, Will Stevens. The 23-year-old already made his Formula 1 debut in the 2014 Abu Dhabi GP, aboard Caterham.

However, the name of the second pilot is still top secret and, according to rumors, will be announced in a few days. Precisely following the great support that McLaren has decided to give to the Manor, it could be one of the winners Kevin Magnussen and Stoffel Vandoorne. But other leads cannot be discarded either: according to Finnish colleagues at Turun Sanomat, Manor would also be interested in Giedo van der Garde, who last year acted as third driver for Sauber.
