Lotus: Trulli and Kovalainen disappointed with double retirement due to technical problems
di F1 editorial team30 May, 2010
Jarno Trulli, unranked:
“It was difficult at the start with the hard tyres, and the team was telling me that Heikki was faster on the options, and he was on a different strategy and passed me. I managed to distance ourselves from our direct rivals but unfortunately a breakdown put an end to my good race.”
Heikki Kovalainen, unranked:
"Such a pity. I had a problem with the steering wheel apparently due to a hydraulic fault. At first I thought it was a puncture but then I lost the gearbox, clutch and accelerator. I was unlucky because I was having a good race. I'm obviously disappointed but as I said before these things happen and we will work to be stronger."
