Lotus Renault, Petrov: “It was a difficult day for us today”

There's a bit of disappointment in there Vitaly Petrov e Bruno senna, after free practice for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Lotus Renault lacks speed and good pace at the Yas Marina circuit.

Bruno senna, 15th: “Even though I only raced for one session today, I managed to do a lot of laps. I fear that our fears of not having much pace may be confirmed; we have to work a lot to improve for tomorrow and see where we can improve. It will be a difficult qualification for us but we still need to get the most out of it. I also used the Pirelli tires to test, which seem more resistant than the soft tires we use now, it was interesting to be able to compare them."

Vitaly Petrov, 13th: “It was a difficult day for us today, especially for the rear-wheel drive, and we have no pace at all. Tonight we have to figure out how to improve. One aspect that was quite noticeable today was the difference in temperature between the two sessions. It's very interesting for a driver, because as you go out of the garage, everything gets darker and darker, until it's all black. We really want to improve for tomorrow, to compete and be more consistent than today."
