“Both sessions were quite good today. The circuit was obviously a bit dirty and even at the end of the second session the grip level was still poor. I felt like I was at Rally Finland. I think the team did a great job today, improving the balance and going in the right direction the whole time. The low downforce package seems to work really well and that's encouraging and then we're not far from Toro Rosso. Maybe tomorrow in qualifying I will be able to fight with them.”

“It's been a difficult day, but I still feel positive – after all, this is still our first season, and we're only at eight races but not enough to have a good setup. I had excessive tire degradation on both hard and soft tyres, but I want to thank the team for working hard to resolve the issues on my car and we'll see if my luck changes tomorrow.”
