Lotus, Grosjean: “Raikkonen is the key to the drivers' market”

According to Lotus driver Romain Grosjean, Kimi Raikkonen's future will be decisive for the entire driver market. A domino effect, a whirlwind of dreams with that Red seat that it's unclear whether it will be released or not, a set of factors ready to make everyone move, who are now with bated breath, anxiously waiting to know what will happen.

“The key role in the market is played by Kimi; if the seat at Ferrari were freed up, a chain reaction would immediately be triggered. I don't know if the changes that will happen will be good for me, for now I don't want to talk about the market."

With these words Grosjean indirectly confirmed that he was not certain of his stay at Lotus. During the year, the Genevan driver showed signs of intolerance towards the team, annoyed by the habit of having test driver Palmer run instead of him in the first free practices, showing doubts about the team's fate. More than once Grosjean got nervous because of the hour and a half of work he missed on Fridays.
