The report cards of the Brazilian GP

The report cards of the Brazilian GP

Sebastian Vettel – 10 – A fairytale 2013 ends with yet another victory. Apart from the less than perfect start into which he was put by Rosberg, the rest still proceeded as planned by him and Red Bull. Will he succeed next year too? We'll see, for now he enjoys this triumph.

Mark Webber – 10 – He deserves all this rating, especially if we think back to the year he had to face. In the end, yesterday's second place is worth as much as that victory that was denied him and with which he would have liked to end the World Championship. Goodbye Mark, we will miss you.

Fernando Alonso – 9 – Finally a race worthy of Alonso and Ferrari. With Red Bulls like this, he couldn't do more. And now, a little vacation before thinking about next year.

Felipe Massa – 7 – Drive through or not drive through, that is the question. The judges' decision was perhaps a little too fiscal, arriving in Felipe's last GP in red. Sin! Protagonist of a race full of ups and downs, now the Brazilian can only focus on his new adventure in Williams, hoping that it will truly be an opportunity for a relaunch. After all, he deserves it.

Jenson Button – 9 – What a race guys, what a race! Our Jenson still has a few arrows in his bow and when he pulls them out it's a spectacle. Strategy has been the secret weapon of the old lion who still wants to roar, proving that he can still instill a little terror and entertain. Go Jenson!

Sergio Perez – 8 – Last race in F1 for the Mexican. Since McLaren left him stranded, Perez has put together champion performances. And now we really regret not seeing him in the circus anymore.

Romain Grosjean – sv – After the last few races we would have liked to see him on the podium once again or fight for it. Instead, in the end, he had to give up just a few meters into the GP. Sin.

Heikki Kovalainen – 4 – Last week we spared him given his debut, but this time we expected something more, and probably him too. Try it again Heikki!

Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg – 6.5 – The vote is similar, after all the two riders are equal despite Nico finishing before the Lewises. And even during the year, after all, they compensated each other. And for next season, what can we expect?

Nico Hulkenberg – 6 – He closes his Sauber adventure still in the points. The last few months have been a harbinger of satisfaction for Nico: he deserves it!

Esteban Gutierrez – 5 – Never at the pace of his teammate, once again he proves it in the race. The conditions for 2014 are not the brightest, but Sauber has no regrets about this.

Paul di Resta – 5 – Bad, very bad at the start, he loses six positions at the first corner and from a possible top 10 finish, in the end he finishes 11th. Disappointment, for him and for the team.

Adrian Sutil – 5 – As for his teammate, it was a race to forget. Luckily the World Cup has come to an end. In the year of his return he did not achieve what he might have expected, despite the conditions. Try again!

Daniel Ricciardo – 6 – He concluded his adventure in Toro Rosso in the top 10, as if to further demonstrate to Red Bull that he had made the best choice. Good luck Daniel!

Jean-Éric Vergne – 5 – Perhaps, now that his teammate is leaving for other shores, he will suffer less pressure and will show us what he has already shown in the past. Unfortunately for him this year he has only succeeded on and off, certainly not in Brazil.

Pastor Maldonado – 4 – Bad race, spin with Vergne and 16th place. A sad farewell to Williams.

Valtteri Bottas – sv – It's a shame about the contact with Hamilton, up to that point he wasn't looking bad.

Charles Pic – sv – Unfortunately, nothing can be done with bad luck. Forced to retire due to a broken suspension, he knows it well.

Giedo van der Garde – 5 – A drive through that he could have avoided, no matter that he was getting the better of his direct opponents Marussia. In the end he finished behind everyone, ahead of only Chilton. A sad ending.

Jules Bianchi, Max Chilton – 6 – Identical vote for different reasons. Bianchi always responds punctually, even in Brazil he is the first of the drivers of the minor teams. Chilton, on the other hand, is the rookie who has officially finished all the races in the World Championship. A record.
