Williams does not comment on the legal action by the Michael Waltrip Racing team
La Williams does not comment on the news reporting that the Michael Waltrip Racing team would sue the Grove team, as they were unaware of this lawsuit.
The NASCAR team has taken legal action against Williams and the engineer mike coughlan.
The team accuses a breach of contract and interference by the F1 team, given that the American team has an agreement with Coughlan until November 30, 2012.
Williams says she was not informed of anything.
A spokesperson for the team told Autosport: “Williams F1 is aware of these rumors regarding the lawsuit brought by Michael Waltrip Racing against the team and Mike Coughlan.”
“However, neither Mike nor the team have received word of any further proceedings, nor have they had any contact with the team in question since early June.”
“Accordingly, we have no further comment to make on the matter.”
