Toyota denies the rumors about Trulli's dismissal

Toyota has denied rumors according to which Jarno Trulli could be replaced before the start of the 2009 season. The Cologne-based Japanese team has confirmed that the thirty-four-year-old Italian driver, who moved from Renault to Toyota at the end of 2004 , will also line up next season alongside teammate Timo Glock.

Some rumors recently coming from Japan had indicated that Kamui Kobayashi, the team's third driver and winner of a GP2 race in the season just ended, was Trulli's imminent replacement, but team president John Howett declared to The Times: "We have a perfectly good contract with Jarno."
