Sauber reassures de la Rosa

Sauber has described the news that Pedro de la Rosa is about to lose his place at the Swiss team as "nonsense".
The veteran Spaniard has had to deal with such rumors at every point of the season so far, although the Hinwil team has repeatedly denied any possibility of changing its current driver pairing.

According to the latest rumors, de la Rosa was about to be replaced by Italian GP2 driver Luca Filippi ahead of the Turkish Grand Prix.

According to some sources from Italy, the agreement has simply been postponed until the European Grand Prix which will take place in Valencia at the end of the month.

But the Swiss newspaper Blick, whose correspondent Roger Benoit is historically close to Peter Sauber, reported the statements of a source within the team who defines the news as "nonsense."

The publication also reported that the Swiss Sebastien Buemi is ready to stay at Toro Rosso in 2011 and in the future the driver would be a serious candidate to take a wheel in the main energy drinks team, Red Bull.
