Renault responds to Kubica's manager

Tense nerves between Robert Kubica and the Renault team. The Enstone team, which will be renamed Lotus in 2012, announced this week that the Pole will not be ready in time for the start of the 2012 season but yesterday the driver's manager, Daniele Morelli, accused the team of having exploited his words.

Eric Boullier, team principal of Lotus Renault GP, reacted with surprise, reiterating that Morelli had approved the press release.

“He approved the statement so everything was fine” declared the Frenchman at Interlagos. “I can show you the email, he approved it. And now he's disappointed I don't know what. He is creating news about nothing,” Boullier said in Brazil.

Previously Morelli had declared that Kubica would be ready for 2012 but not from February, fueling rumors of a possible interest from Ferrari and Red Bull for 2013.
