Red Bull confirms that its Renault engine will be called TAG Heuer

La Red Bull Racingg with a press release confirmed two important pieces of news that were in the air: in 2016 the single-seater will once again be powered by Renault engines which however will carry the TAG Heuer, with the important Swiss watch company appearing in the official name of the Power Unit.

Red Bull also sealed the definitive peace with Renault, thanking the French for their long collaboration and past triumphs and welcoming the collaboration of the manufacturer from beyond the Alps with Ilmor Engineering, Mario Illien's motor company which will have to help the French to best develop their PU by correcting the mistakes of the recent past. Renault needs to massively increase its performance, especially now that it has returned as an official team, taking over Lotus.
