Red Bull asks Toro Rosso for help with brake-by-wire

Red Bull's technical crisis is so serious that the Milton Keynes team would have asked for help from Toro Rosso, the junior team of the energy drink company. In particular, Red Bull Racing would have asked for help from the Faenza team for the new brake-by-wire system, closely linked to the ERS system.

But one of Red Bull's biggest problems at the moment is the so-called "turbo lag", as Helmut Marko admitted: "You press the accelerator but the power arrives suddenly, the wheels spin, the car skids and you lose speed ” he explained to Servus TV. “We are working with Renault on the bench day and night to improve the situation for Melbourne,” added Marko.

World champion Sebastian Vettel, however, expects to suffer in Australia: “If half of the drivers don't reach the finish line, maybe we can collect some points. At the moment we have more serious problems to resolve than race pace."
