The new Toro Rosso will debut in the Jerez tests

Scuderia Toro Rosso has confirmed that the new car will be ready for the first test in Jerez next month, after passing mandatory crash tests this week.
Starting this year, Formula 1 teams must pass impact tests before debuting their single-seaters on the track. In a press release released today, Toro Rosso confirmed the homologation of the car which will start running from 7 February in Spain.
“We know that the car is sufficiently solid and from February 7 we will be able to start working to make it fast and reliable” reads the note.
Toro Rosso will field a completely new driver line-up with Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniel Ricciardo.
