The new McLaren will debut in Valencia

From Woking they let it be known that the new McLaren racing car will take to the track at the beginning of February to take part in the test session on the “Ricardo Tormo” circuit.

The new MP4-25 will feature the number 1, symbolizing the hiring of reigning world champion Jenson Button. The Englishman declares himself enthusiastic about this.

“I can't wait to get on track with the new car,” comments the 29-year-old, adding that initially there will be no barriers between him and Hamilton. “We will share the test results which will be important to compare information and move forward in the right direction.”

Lewis Hamilton would like to build a good relationship with Button.

“We haven't seen each other since it was announced in November – declares the 24 year old – We entered Woking on different days. We will start working together at the end of the month. First in Woking, then the launch and finally the tests.”
