Moto GP could have Michael Schumacher competing at Mugello

According to the French newspaper theStaff, Michael Schumacher is preparing a sensational undertaking for the 2008 season, namely that of competing in the MotoGP Grand Prix at Mugello together with Ducati. The former Formula 1 champion is reportedly carrying out a regular training program on the French circuit of Bresse, with the aim of 'playing a single race on a track that he knows perfectly.

To make the operation possible, however, it would be necessary for the organizers to issue a "wild card", while the support of the sponsors who share the commitment with Ferrari and Ducati seems more than obvious. In testing with the Desmosedici GP7 in the early days of last November, Micheal Schumacher achieved decidedly surprising times in Valencia, although still far from those needed to be somewhat competitive.
