McLaren still sponsored Johnnie Walker
A multi-year contract signed
The collaboration between McLaren and the Diageo group's alcohol brand Johnnie Walker.
Together since 2005, the two brands have decided to renew the union despite the current difficulties of the Woking team, which has been in a crisis of results for several seasons now.
“With this agreement we aim to strengthen the “Join the Pact” campaign for safe driving and reach the goal of 5 million members thanks also to the contribution of our ambassador Mika Hakkinen” – the comment of the director of the whiskey producing company Guy Escolme.
“It's fantastic to be able to continue the partnership with a brand with which we share the ambition and which is synonymous with quality and dynamism within a constantly evolving market” – the words of the big boss Ron Dennis.
